TDHK is implementing the project "Youth empowerment for inclusive employment” YEEP II, financed by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and SOS-Kinderdörfer weltweit, Hermann-Gmeiner-Fonds Deutschland (HGFD), in close cooperation with SOS Children’s Villages in Kosovo.
The project is implemented in Prizren municipality, Kosovo, focusing especially on the socio-economic integration and well-being of children and youth in need. Overall objective of the project is to create a comprehensive and sustainable impact on the socio-economic integration and well-being of children and young people in need, as well as their families.
SO 1: Vulnerable young people have acquired knowledge and skills that improve their employability in the labour market.
SO 2: Vulnerable young people are offered pathways to decent employment opportunities
SO 3: Local decision-makers have increased their awareness of the situation of young people at risk and are informed about possible strategies to address the socio-economic exclusion of the target group.
Duration of the project: 30 months (November 2023 – March 2026)
Target Group: Youth aged 16-24, Minimum 50% female participation
Vulnerable youth, children, and families in Prizren, particularly those who are in street situations or have been exposed to violence, abuse, or trafficking. These beneficiaries lack the necessary skills, financial resources, self-motivation, and self-esteem required to better integrate into the labor market, contributing to their social exclusion and worsening their already challenging socio-economic circumstances. The project aims to empower these individuals with skills and support services to better integrate into the labor market, thereby improving their socio-economic circumstances and overall well-being
