Prishtina, April 2025 — In light of a series of alarming reports concerning child sexual abuse in Kosovo, Terre des hommes in Kosovo has launched a national awareness campaign aimed at informing the public and encouraging collective action to prevent such crimes.
Titled “Stop Child Sexual Abuse”, the campaign features a powerful animated video that highlights key messages on protecting children, recognizing signs of abuse, and the importance of reporting. The animation has been published across Terre des hommes Kosovo's social media platforms and broadcast on ATV, a major national television outlet, to ensure wide reach and engagement with the public.
As part of the campaign, Naim Bilalli, Capacity Building Officer and Trainer at Terre des hommes Kosovo, appeared on RTV21, a leading national news outlet. In his interview, he addressed the disturbing rise in reported cases and emphasized the critical role that institutions, families, and communities must play in safeguarding children.
