Protection and provision of multi-disciplinary services for children in street situations through a case management approach – phase 1 and 2

Goal:

To contribute to increasing the availability, quality and sustainability of social services and to ensure the provision of services to persons at risk of social exclusion. The categories that will benefit are vulnerable communities and exposed communities, especially the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, especially children and adults in need, children and young people at risk or victims of abuse, exploitation or trafficking, and children in conflict with the law

Objectives:

  • Providing services and developing activities in day centers for children involved in hard work and children in street situations with the aim of reducing the time spent on the street, through the provision of specialized/integrated services.
  • Provision of educational, psychosocial and health services for victims of domestic violence and victims of abuse, exploitation/trafficking, children in conflict with the law (including elementary and medical assistance - i.e. food, clothing, hygiene, medications, etc).
  • Providing a platform for identification, referral, coordination and cooperation with PSCs and providing assistance to case management desks.
  • Prevention and management of referral of cases of violence, abuse, exploitation/trafficking through awareness and advocacy activities for their protection and well-being.

Duration: April 2021- October 2022

Target area: Prishtinë, Fushë Kosova and Obiliq
